Fire Sticks not working

Since the big SoCal electrical storm, I have been unable to get either of my Roku Fire sticks to work. Purchased an extra token to check and can get to Prime but nothing loads and there is a latency between the remote and the tv app of about 2 seconds. I read that sometimes rook doesn't play well with data tokens?

All the tokens do is add priority data to your account; they wouldn't have an effect on whether your Roku fire sticks work or not.  You may want to see if there's a community for Roku and post there.  Also, have you turned off everything and restarted it?

It will have an effect if your data is at 0%. Roku's take more data than the nominal data allowance you get when an account is at zero. So, I added the data token to make sure I had enough data allowance to reload apps and and run the Firestick. Right now, because I can't get the apps to reload I can't identify if its because I dont have enough data stream or if the apps can't reload due to a problem with the Firestick. I am going to assume its the Firestick because my computer and iPad aren't running slowly.

I changed the modem from 5G system which had 2 lines, to the 2G setting with 4. Was able to finally download and re-install the app I deleted when I was trying to figure all this out. Still can’t stream with either though. Amazon keeps giving notices that “the network connection was interrupted”, It coincides with the computer and IPad freezing at the same time. Been with Hughes a long time, used to off/on service. I’ll wait to avoid driving myself crazy.
