PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN...

Lots of us look forward to the last weekend of May because for many, Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer.
Families across the country fire-up the grill, head to the beach or take in a big blockbuster movie to celebrate the day spending quality time with loved ones while commemorating the holiday.
Happy Memorial Day from all of your HughesNet community moderators and friends.

And thanks to all who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country

Ditto to both the above, plus: Be careful on the roads. It's not you but other crazy, nonthinking drivers who will make your weekend have an outcome other than what you would wildly dream.  Be safe.

At the risk of being too political, Memorial Day should not be that happy, but more a day of reflection on past and present conflicts, and those that have died.

It has turned into another party day it seems.
