Lots of us look forward to the last weekend of May because for many, Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. 
Families across the country fire-up the grill, head to the beach or take in a big blockbuster movie to celebrate the day spending quality time with loved ones while commemorating the holiday.

At the risk of being too political, Memorial Day should not be that happy, but more a day of reflection on past and present conflicts, and those that have died.

It has turned into another party day it seems.
