Question about the gateways.

I was just curious.  Do the gateways have a big satellite dish?   As in one that's consirable in size?

I was searching my gateway city on a satellite view to see if I could pick it out.  Lots of cell tower sites on hills, but no satellite dish.

Yeah...I'm bored.  LOL.

I would assume that the actual dish size has to do with a function of freqency/bandwidth (aperture/waveguide/feedhorn) as well as relative transmit power to what we use. Would also depend upon the number of beams/outroutes handled by each dish, and if the transceivers used for each are either grouped or multiplexed.

Short answer, my guess is "yes".
