3 case numbers after 8 hours with no cure. Case # 47227583/ 47264024/47267610. Motum Serial #4115541(Possibly old Motom)

I will include my THREE case numbers after 8 hours with no cure. Case numbers 47227583/ 47264024/47267610. Motum Serial #4115541(Possibly old Motom) I am working off my iPad. Yes all works fine if I go to my webmail and do one account at a time. I want it to download on my iPad. One told me it was not compatible with your new 2 you upgraded too. I get different error messages 1) Unable to send email, a copy has been placed in your outbox. The sender address xxxx was rejected by the server. 2) Send message failed - Your email failed to send. Please contact support for assistance. 3) incorrect email address or password. I get my messages but they go out when they decide to. I have been on support for EIGHT hours in the past 3 days. I have changed passwords, and I have set up Outlook, was on Safari but they both do it so will be deleting Outlook. They said it was a known problem. They can't help me any longer because it works on their webmail so that is fine. I will find someone that can fix their errors. Very nice people, I can't take that away from them but how long does it take to get someone that can help you. I'm so done and changes will be made on my end, my changes from myHughes.net

Karen last part of last year they changed the outgoing port number for the email settings, check and make sure you email matches one of these settings.

Our e-mail port settings recently changed, however here is a breakdown of what is needed. Please be sure that if an
option to use Default Port Settings is available, that the option is
unchecked.

For IMAP
Incoming Server: imap.hughes.net
Outgoing Server: smtp.hughes.net
Incoming Port: 143 (SSL 995)
Outgoing Port: 587 (SSL 587)

For POP3
Incoming Server: mail.hughes.net
Outgoing Server: smtp.hughes.net
Incoming Port: 110 (SSL 995)
Outgoing Port: 587 (SSL 587)

Also my SSL is turned off. My incoming server is set up as mail.hughes.net not imap.hughes.net. Should I change that?

if your using the POP3 then your settings are correct, the outgoing port was 25 but after they changed it its now port 587, I also have the SSL turned off so I dont think there is anything wrong with your setting so dont change any of them, it would probably better if you can wait till Monday and let one of the Mods here walk you through it and they can check and make sure its not on their end. the Mods here are a lot higher up the ladder than the phone support and are located in the USA, I have seen where just setting up  Outlook again fixes the problem with some customers but only if you comfortable doing that, I personally use windows live mail so I wont be much help to you with outlook this is how my live mail is setup I erased my email username for this pic so make sure yours has it

I have to use TLS security on my wife's Android phone. SSL errors out when trying to set it up. POP3 btw, haven't tried IMAP.

I have changed 2 of my outgoing accounts to POP3.hughes.net from the SMTP.hughes.net. It's working!!! Do I dare change my others? I don't want to change a bunch until I know it's right. Also as you have pointed out above I have Authorization and has 4 choices - 1) Password 2) MD5 Challenge-Response 3) HTTP MD5 Digess 4) NTLM. I have Password checked. Is this correct?
I so much appreciate your help. I am leaving for Australia on Monday morning very early and 8 hours of tech support, just can't do it on Monday. THANK YOU!!!!
