I had a business account installed on 11/16 and have had multiple repair tickets, this service has not worked correctly from the get go. The newest ticket is 45649527. I have the 10 mb download and 1 mb upload account. I work from home, trying to work with under 2000 kbps and under 400 kbps upload most of the time. I am on my fourth tech coming out with repointing, new radios, new modems and nothing seems to fix this problem. This last tech call the rep said definitely noise in the cable, the tech comes out changes the radio, says sorry I gave your replacement modem to the customer before you, doesn't change the cable, and leaves my ticket open.
I purchased this satellite contract to replace exede satellite service and now I am thinking what a big mistake. I have not been able to cancel exede, which runs much better because Hughesnet doesn't work even worse. My only recourse is to pay $800 to cancel something that does not work correctly since day 1. I am sorry for your trouble doesn't put food on my table and allow me to work. There is supposed to be a 30 day right to cancel, I have been with tech support issues since the get go, so as far as I am concerned, the 30 days should only start when the system is fixed and running correctly. What am I to do?
yes my computer is directly connected to the modem with no router. I have run literally so many speed tests and the techs that come out run so many that it eats up my data. you can check them since November and see the history. When the tech comes out and changes something, everything runs good, but it never lasts!
