I have had Hughesnet for over 12 years. I have Gen 4. I am consistently get slow download speeds around 1 mps I got no satisfaction from the tech support people. They FinAlly sent me to home technical support without telling me this was a paid service. I have an HP pavilion touch smart desktop running windows 8,1. And no my own router is NOT the problem. Who else has this problem?

Um, OP never replied. They do miss closing old posts sometimes. What is the point of necroing this? We all know you are upset with HughesNet right now. Why not stick to your post? You can keep bumping it. Last time was a day ago from what I see.
