Getting notices of our account being changed

Tonight we got a second notice that our account has been changed and if we didn't do it we should go and do an up date. Here is the email it came in on "Hughes Billing [admin2@billingnotice.net]" This was the subject line "Important Security Notice"

The body of it looks like a Hughesnet notice we might get for an add or something new coming out.

We didn't do an account change so I am guessing this is not really you?

It's almost assuredly fraudulent, but the reps will be able to tell you for sure tomorrow (Tuesday).  As far as I know, any real email from Hughesnet would be from @Hughes or @Hughesnet or something of that nature.

I got the same email its a scram. Always call the billing dept not the phone number in the email sent too you

You're certainly the spam-catcher! You've seen a lot of these. No, this is not us and we'll never ask you to update your information from an email. If a customers billing information is invalid or expired, we use an internal system that pops up inside of your browser. Hope I could help!
