Hughes Phishing Email Warning

Watch out for a Phishing Scam sent last night, designed to look like it's coming from HughesNet (it's not). This is a ruse to try and get you to disclose your personal information.

Ah, the good old gibberish sentence: Failure to revert will avert to service suspension.

Re: Hughes Phishing Email Warning

Failure to revert will avert to service suspension.
Also, weird the perp would insert HomeDepotReceipt@homedepot.com for the From: address. Probably forgot to change it from a previous Phishing attempt.

Also, for anyone reading this topic, you can do your part to help protect others by reporting these kinds of Phishing/Malware attacks to Google.

If you use Thunderbird, you can right click on any phishing or malware link and select "Report Email Scam." This will open a page on Google to report the offending page.

You can also copy any link and report it at: https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/

Once reported by enough people, Google will flag the link and warn others:

I'll repost this information in a separate topic.
