HughesNet is sending a new modem

I have an Ht 1000 and will receive a new modem tomorrow; probably a HT1100. I have a wired belkin router and it works good with the HT1000. The technition on the phone said just unplug the old one and plug in the new one. Will that work? I got 24hrs before the new one shows up at the house.

Re: HughesNet is sending a new modem

Hook up t HT1100 the same way the HT1000 is hooked up. Once you plug it in give it at least 30 minutes to register, DO NOT power it down until it has had 30 minutes to register. Everything should go well, you will have the lights just as the HT1000 and once registered you will be able to surf as always.

You will like the HT1100, I do.

Hi Mike

Absolutely correct! Transfer over all the cords, plugging in the power cord last. Allow it to sit for 30-45 minutes like Mordacious said and you'll be good to go! Let us know if you have any problems.

Thanks
