"CUT YOUR LOSSES SWITCH TO ANY MOBILE CARRIERS HOT SPOT ,MYFI,VYFI and immediatly be happy again "
My goodness, if I were to switch to the mobile carrier in my area my speed would plummet to a max of 1.5 Mbps and tokens would be absurdly expensive. No thanks.
My experience of switching to a mobile carrier has been excellent and I would never go back. Even at 1/15th the speed of Hughes (I get around 2Mbps on the mobile signal) I have ridiculously better service in every respect. Something is seriously wrong with Hughes' service.
ETA: when I say "1/15 the speed" I mean the speed that I used to get at off-peak hours, which could be up to 30Mbps. During "normal" hours I would regularly get less than 1Mbps download, at which point Hughes was basically unusable.
Well, hey, you're lucky. Good for you. IME, the mobile carrier completely stinks in my area.

I don't know what your post said, but it may have been removed for violating community rules.

But honestly dont you find it odd that i posted a fix that was credited by hughes tech on the phone and asked me to share here only to be discredited by gabeu and removed entirely hours after but i checked again this morning my latency was 700ms which is way better than the 1200ms to 2600ms ive been running for the past 7 months and even had download speed spike up to 85mbs but my resolve has been removed from this forum?
It is simply not something they want thrown out here for everyone to see and start doing randomly. Many times it can cause bigger problems rather than fix it.
I wonder if that 3rd party tech would have paid for your site visit if it had messed up your system even more?
I totally understand why the moderators removed the post. Sounds like time for you to move on and enjoy your new hotspot. Best of luck.
Hello friend I hope you’re ok, I contact you because I need help to fix my PING to play online and you would help a lot, please
Hi AuriSilva1611,
I'm glad you found the community, thank you for posting. With satellite internet, your data has to travel a lot farther to get to the internet and back, so the ping is higher than compared with cable or DSL provided internet. We can't exactly move the satellite closer to Earth to decrease the ping. 🙂
