Loss of connection completely

My modem just happened to lose connection completely after sometime but all lights are fine. What could be the problem causing this loss of Internet.

Open the modems internal SCC by entering 192.168.0.1

Are both icons at the top center both green ?
Are any error codes or conditions noted ?

Along with what gwalk said hook the PC up to the modem directly this will eliminate any router that may be causing the problem.

Hi Mukisa,

Welcome to the community! We appreciate the post. Many things can cause this. Hopefully this has fixed itself. There could be problems at your gateway, bad weather, etc. No way in knowing for sure. By Gwalks suggestion. A quick look into what is going on is by entering http://192.168.0.1 into a browser and checking that everything is green. We can also look further via our diagnostics here. Do do this we'll need to locate your account. If you have a recent case number or the serial on the back/bottom of the HughesNet modem we'll be able to do just that. Looking forward to your reply.
