Modem been losing signal

My HT1100 has recently lost signal this has happened 3 times already.  Clear Skies, nothing in the way of dish, no trees in LOS, however it has been extremely HOT for the past three weeks 100 deg or more.  Current the signal is at 99 but it varies even when working from 50 to 99.  It remains lost from 5 to 20 minutes then starts working again but resumes very low then builds slowly and levels off at 99. This screen shot has a signal of 30 but it was 12 and moved to 30 when I took the screen shot. 

I did leave the SAN on the picture, in case it helps you look something up, but posted privately if you choose to put it on the community please remove the SAN

Hi Gary

Looks like your gateway in Tuscon, AZ is/was under severe weather. I suggest powercycling now to see if it comes back up.

OK but why would all the LEDs on my modem go off because it goes to satellite first.  It also happened more than once on different days.  I did power cycle this morning with no success.  I will keep an eye on it but it makes no sense to me.  It is working now like I said it is intermittent for just a few minutes at a time.

Hi Gary

If there is a service outage there would be no system, transmission or receiving ability (except in maybe minor amounts). You would realistically only have the LAN and Power LED on consistently, but I have seen cases where the service is down but all the lights are normal on the modem. The whole of the US has had storms rolling across it the past couple of days.

From our logs looks like it was down due to weather on these dates: 

7/29, 7/30, 8/1 and today from 9:55-10:26 EST, then 11:30AM to 12:08PM EST.
