Occasionally SSL errors crop up. Sometimes it's manifested by getting hung up in the TLS handshake on a web page. Other times, such as this morning, I might get an error trying to secure-download something.
I normally attribute this to a cached DNS entry in the modem being clobbered, which usually can be fixed by simply rebooting the modem (most of the time).
This morning I tried something a little different: I clicked the Reset MBX button on the often-forgotten Web Acceleration Control page just to see what would happen. Not sure why, but it seemed to do the trick.
Hopefully this is repeatable for a lot of people.
