I used 1 GB today and here it is, several low def 45 minute videos downloaded and wife doing YouTube  on Nexus tablet.




I think 30 GB a month Anytime data would serve most people well. Posting this as a benchmark for future policy especially when the new satellite is in place.

My wife watched a on demand movie on our Direct Tv it was 1.5 hours long and used 3GB of data, sadly you cant change the video quality on it

Ouch! Yea, DirecTV is a huge data hog, What is bad is they lead people to believe it is just fine to hook up to satellite and use it like you would on cable internet.

Yep the guy that installed mine told me to not hook it up because it would eat data like mad so I had him hook it up but not connect to the network and when I want on demand I connect it. but when I called in to order it they were like oh it doesnt use any data, lol

it was a show my wife had been wanting to watch for a while now so 3GB wasnt worth sleeping on the couch
