Seamless transition from my main data bank to my tokens bank.

Seamless transition from my main data bank to my tokens bank.

This month I knew I was going to run out of my monthly allowance. So I banked a few free tokens before I ran out. I was not sure how that would work so I made sure to pay attention to how much data I had left and watched it go to zero. My speed did not suffer nor did I notice any difference at all. A check a few mins. later showed my data coming out of my banked tokens. Great job HughesNet!

They dont make it real plain, but:

Gen4 has THREE, not two data "buckets".

One for Anytime Bytes

Another for Bonus Bytes

And a THIRD for token Bytes assuming the user has "authorized" the use of token bytes by clicking on the "use" button on the token page.

Glad to hear this worked out as planned Ricky. Thanks for the update.

I assume all went well with the reinstall of your OS???

Oh yeah Rocky the re-install of my OS is almost always a seamless process. It just eats up a ton of data with all the updates that are needed. I just was not sure how the transition from my anytime Bytes would transfer to using my token Bytes. However it was easy and painless. One more question about that. Since I was confused when doing this process I put way to many of my free token Bytes in my bucket. Will they stay there or will I lose them? Heck I only needed to use 2, maybe 3 of them.

Okay, one more question. When my data allowance rolls over in a few days will it stop using my token Bytes and start to use my Anytime Bytes automatically? I would like to keep my token Bytes there as a emergency.

Yes it will stop being used once you get your monthly data refill.
