Would it be possible to view a short video in sd after high-speed runs out if I pause the video at the beginning? Example: I like to watch movie trailers and music videos on YouTube. How long would I have to pause it to let it load? P.S. I have the 10gb anytime plan, which includes smartbrowsing.

Hi rgm12355,

Thanks for posting. Streaming any kind of media on SmartBrowsing won't work as well as regular browsing. SmartBrowsing only allows you to continue browsing sites and checking e-mail without a noticeable change.

Video is a data intensive activity. Engaging in data intensive activity during a time that your Anytime Bytes were depleted would cause the SmartBrowse feature to kick out and normal FAP speeds of approximately 150 Kbps to kick in.

There are three meters available to you to help monitor your data usage. How you spend that data is up to you.

There are a number of things that you can do that will reduce the data used on unintended areas such as blocking ads and scripts among other things.

You can of course purchase extra cost blocks of data known as "tokens".

Possibly 144p definition but not sure YouTube offers that for all videos.

Is there a way that i can just listen to the music streaming? Also, what about Amazon Prime. Doesn't that service allow subscribers to download the rentals. I could do that with Hughesnet.

Everything that you connect to , webpages, musc streaming, Amazon Prime .... all activity, is going to use some kind of data. Some activity is going to use data at higher rates than others.
You can "spend" your data allowance anyway you choose. If you it up before your refill date then you will be throttled to around 150 Kbps unless your acivity level permits SmartBrowse.
