The hughesnet is too slow for our Majic Jack phones in our business.

This service was too slow for our Majic Jack phones in our business. Phones never worked for us and constant connection issues caused us to loose our business we were advertising. You have taken 7 months to get it stopped, using several reasons, after we told you to. Now you want more money to break the contract. This service never worked!

Magic Jack is not compatible with HughesNet because of the latency on satellite. They have their own VoIP service with an ATA box designed to compensate plus uses a special channel.

All this is in their FAQs. Both Hughes and Magic Jack FAQs.

Hi Billie,

I understand that Magic Jack did not work for you on our service, however I think there is another concern you have about your account. Do you have any case numbers or perhaps the serial number from your modem?

Thank you
Amanda
