I hope someone with more Linux experience than I have (I'm just a low level Linux user) can explain to you how to install it.
New poster here....I have been having the same proplem for the past 3-4 days. Sites I have been going to for several years no longer load, time out or start to load then stall. Major sites like financial instituitions, Yahoo, Google load fine. I have tried all the tests mentioned in this thread numerous times to no avail.
Same problem on all 4 of my computers......running Windows 10 OS and both Edge and Chrome browers. I have the HT 1100 modem and am located in the Northern Sierra foothills on beam 19. Very, very frustrating and it sure seems like the problem is on the Hughes end.....
Because you're on a different service, and to keep the your issues separate, you should start a new topic in this same section (Tech Support) to get help.
Gabe beat me to it. LOL.
EDIT: To start a new thread, you should go to the main Tech Support page and click on the blue "Start a topic" button. Explain the issues you have been experiencing and what troubleshooting you have done.
If you have run a traceroute, please provide a screenshot. If you haven't, please do and then provide a screenshot.

It has to do with the way the mods/reps handle requests here. They prefer them on separate tickets. Nothing against the poster, and in fact, the suggestion to post under his own thread is made to increase the visibility of his post and for him to have individualised attention.

I also am on beam 19, the same locale for what it is worth, we both have the same problem. No luck, azure, mediaite, etc do not load. Curious my compadre has the same problem, be easy on him, he got the same bug:)
Good luck with your issues, Alex.
Same problem, same time frame, same general location and same beam? Too many similarities to be a random coincidence. I think I will just stick with this thread and not over compartmentalize the issue. Besides, I am too tired and frustrated to start a new topic after all the DNS flushes and cache clearing I have done over the last 3 days. I rooting for you Ecoalex...........
Ecoalex......I don't know if your problem is solved yet, but whatever the techs did to help you has definitely solved my issues. I am now able to access all my problematic sites quickly and and my internet access is flying like a bird released from a tiny cage. Kudos to everone involved in helping, Nacomas3
Oops, I spoke too soon, the access problem is back this morning....ouch!!! I will start a new topic as advised.....
Good morning ecoalex!
Thanks for that update! I let the engineer looking into this know of your latest concern. Just like with the Azure site, can you please run a traceroute to www.mediaite.com? Please be sure to use this command "traceroute -6 www.mediaite.com".
-Liz
Thanks ecoalex! Could you please try traceroute6 since the -6 didn't work?
-Liz
Thanks Alex! Sent this over. We'll keep you posted.
-Liz
Hi Alex,
Can you please check now to see if there's any improvement?
