Usage Not Correct, 3 restore tokens in 12 hours? HughesFail

Here we go again!  I been routinely using tokens every week or so.  Today I used one around noon to get out of FAP mode.  Think hubby was watching videos last night.  Then not too long after getting some work done that never uses much data I watched a 13 minute video......only 13 minutes and   WHAM    FAPPED   again.     So I do some investigating, can't find the old usage chart so I have to use the new one which is quite LAME since it only shows one day at a time.  Well, it shows EXACTLY the same usage for Feb 9th that it does for Feb 10th....hour by hour.... from 1 am to 6 pm ..everything exactly the same for both days.   Well, this isn't possible.  I also got an error message when using the first token... which now I have to question if it actually worked right since my usage recording isn't.

Entering it into my HughesFail Logbook (yes I keep a log of all the service failure I'm paying for)  but wanted to mention it here too.  Haven't been on this forum for months, see that not much has changed.  So glad I didn't get talked into that pricy upgrade to Gen4.  Think Hughes at least owes me a free token or two.   One should not have to use 3 in a day...no make that 12 hours, several of which we weren't even online, I was in the shop and dh wasn't even home.

Remember too that today is "Patch Tuesday" for Microsoft operating systems and other MS stuff such as any Office software.

it seems to me, that they just might need to readjust their update schedule ,from looking at  two together, screenshots that is !! between the hours of 2 AM though 8 AM, ,1hat 12:00 was what time ,Microsoft did ,their updates  yesterday !

Thank you for posting, we want to address your concerns. Gwalk900 is correct, the monthly Microsoft updates were released yesterday and if your OS is Microsoft, your computer may have downloaded those updates. Keep in mind there are countless factors that can also use your data:

- more devices are capable of connecting to the internet: phones, tablets, gaming consoles, SmartTVs, and even refrigerators can connect wirelessly to the internet. Keep track of what devices you leave running on Wi-Fi.

- automatic-updates: your computer and any other programs you use will often keep working in the background, even if you're not actively using that program, in order to keep your system/program up-to-date. Anti-virus programs will periodically use your internet connection to check back with their malware database for any updates. You should have an option to turn off auto-updates and/or schedule them for a later time.

- multimedia content: Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, news sites, and other websites will contain videos, animated gifs, and sound clips that may start playing as soon as you land on the site. So much content, so easily available almost everywhere on the internet. For starters, try disabling auto-play video on Facebook:
