Daytime data is draining just way too fast. Makes it hard to keep up on all of it, on top of having to waste my data to prove a point. I've somehow managed to use 2 Gb's in the past 3 days when I'm the only one who really uses it. All I've done is surf, look at forums, eBay, etc. Hardly and videos. Heres a few pics.
Reset at 10:19 PM:
34 Minutes later...
Reset it at 10:53 PM, then less than an hour later:
The only time anyone else in my house was using it, was in the 3rd picture where they used their tablet to send me Paypal. Which I dont think took over 50Mb's to do. And just for laughs, heres what it does at night time:
Started it at 2AM, when my Bonus kicks in:
5 hours later:
Only moved 100Mb's that whole night.
Now, I'm not trying to tell Hughes to fix the night time, or whatever is going on where I seem to use less data. I'm wanting them to get to the bottom of WHY I've used 2Gb's in 3 days when all of my meters show me not using anything close to that before it drops. But, now that I posted I'm getting "free data", it'll be patched within 2 days. God forbid we get to use our internet without our heart rates hitting 120 because we're worried about the meters.
As THOUSANDS have ever said, data is too small to do ANYTHING with a normal house-hold computer. I know cell phones that have bigger data packages then this crap does. There's too much to look out for on a computer. Things that randomly update, viruses or bugs, programs that decide to update themselves for whatever reason even though you tell them not to, the list goes on. And I have literally no other choice. No other providers, no 4G. Only thing I have is to wait for a port to open with AT&T which only happens when someone drops them.
Thanks,
Liz

Heres something I found even MORE interesting. I went to bed around 1am last night, and I reset the GlassWire meter before I did like always. I left my laptop on and found that I somehow used 53Mb's by just letting my computer idle. Here's what I got:
As you can see, I went through Glasswire and selected the IE tab to see what used so man Mb's. I had 3 windows open at the time. A regular webpage, a picture, and the Hughes status meter. Now what is that?! Is it telling me the Hughes meter is wasting my data by having it open?! I'm beyond confused now.
