Very Slow or NO Reception

This is the worst internet company I have ever had. I have called and sent emails and I get no response. My internet is so slow I cannot even watch a short video. When I call they say everything is ok. I have asked to get out of my contract , as I am paying for services I am not getting, and I can not do that either. The advertisements are not true at all. I have moved from the country to the city and the reception is still horrible. I have 12 months left on this contract and I hate it!! Customer services tells me there is nothing they can do. Well you can get me out of this stupid contract so I can get something that is worth my time and money.

Karen, do you have any speed test results from HughesNet  or Testmy.net ?

I do not at this time.  When I called HughesNet, they did them and said everything was fine.

Go here and run several manual 12 MB tests several minutes apart and post results. Do the tests with only one computer plugged directly into the modem.  http://testmy.net/download

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I know you're frustrated. However you've found the right place. Can you provide us with a recent case number or your modems serial?
