Where to set Amazon Prime to LOW or SD Quality?

Something seems to have changed as I am sure I set Amazon Prime for video to LOW resolution.  I no longer see that setting anyplace at Amazon.  So, watching two 1 hour videos depleted about 10GB of data where before it was using much less.

Did something change at Amazon?

I was on the low setting before but now I see no place to re-set that and videos are using HD amount of data.

When your video starts playing, move your mouse over the screen -- you will see the options gear in the upper right hand corner.  Click on it -- this lets you change the streaming quality. There are 3 options: good (0.34 GB per hour), better (0.86 GB/hr) and best (1.17 GB/hr).

Edit: this is on a computer/laptop.  I haven't tried the apps.

Yeh, my issue is I am on Apple TV using the new Prime App.

Are there any settings on Apple TV itself that can be applied globally?

So there are no settings for the Amazon app on  Apple TV?  My app on my iPad has settings on the main page, at the bottom, and they include video quality toggles.

EDIT:  According to this, you may be out of luck.
