MHM, I agree with BirdDog, the HughesNet Voice service doesn't have any control over the phone's time settings.
If you have a look at the HughesNet Voice guide, all your available settings are listed here and don't include phone time settings:
http://voice.hughesnet.com/installguide/If you give us a model number, we could perhaps point you towards that model's manual which could help shed more light on what you're experiencing.
