no connection

I resently had a power outage lasting around 30hrs, when the power finally came back and I attempt to use the Internet it won't connect. I tried to use the power cycle method to restart my router, no go. I am using a wired connection to my Blu Ray player to watch hulu, when I test the connection through that it just says "the http port is disabled." I'm not super techy but also not completely incompetent. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you able to connect with any other device and try to connect to the internet?  A LAN cable connected device would be preferable, but you can do it through WiFi, too.

If you can connect with a device, can you get to the following?  http://192.168.0.1/#!/usage

If so, are both boxes at the top of the page green?

Do you see any State Codes listed on the following page?  http://192.168.0.1/limited.html#!/state_code/state_code_monitor

If so, can you take a snapshot of the page and post it in here?  Make sure to edit out your SAN (the number that starts with DSS...), as this is your account number, which you should never post.  If you don't know how to do so, please just list the State Codes you see.

Hello Corey,

Welcome to our community and thank you for your post. I was able to run diagnostics on your equipment and see that the service is up and running with a Belkin router attached. Are you able to access the internet using any other device connected to your Belkin router? When you say that you directly connected - do you mean to your Belkin router or your HughesNet modem?

After a little searching, it appears people have been experiencing the same issues with other routers/service providers for a few years now. The two main fixes I see are 1- updating the firmware of the Samsung player (it may have factory reset after the power outage) and ensuring the network settings of the Samsung player are correctly configured.

Thank you

Amanda

Hi Corey,

I just wanted to check in with you regarding your initial post. Are you still getting connectivity errors on your Blu-Ray player?
