rather lower speed with no cap

Just a comment. I would rather have, let's say, 1.5 or 2 Mbps consistently all month than 10 Mbps for a week or two and then get throttled.

No caps will never happen regardless the speed. Has been brought up many, many times.

Even a daily cap with rollover is still a cap.

I'm sure it has. It was just a comment. But to say never is pretty strong. And I know that all isp's have some kind of cap but most are not as extreme as hughsnet.

OK, probably not in my lifetime. Close enough to never for me.  Smiley Happy

With satellite if they raise the caps too high there are plenty of people who would set stuff to download all day while at work. It would bring the system to a crawl.

Hi Billy,

Thanks for your suggestion, we appreciate your input. Another user brought a similar idea up recently, to which my fellow moderator, Katie, responded: https://community.myhughesnet.com/hughesnet/topics/instead-of-giving-me-higher-speed-can-i-have-more...

Rest assured we'll let you know if there are any updates on this to share.

Thanks,
