Re: speedtest trying to share results

Hi Mark,

Where are you running your speed tests? I'm not seeing any recent results in your HughesNet speed test history.  If you're running your tests on testmy.net, all I need is your results URL, it may look something like http://testmy.net/quickstats/[yourusername]

Speed tests from any other source won't be accepted, so if you haven't already done so, please follow the steps here to set up a testmy.net account and run speed tests so that we get a proper evaluation of your system performance:
https://community.myhughesnet.com/hughesnet/topics/cant-use-the-hughesnet-speedtest-guide-for-testmy....

Most important points:
-do the tests while directly connected to the HughesNet modem
-use the 12MB test file
-space each test at least 5 minutes apart
-post your results URL here, it may look something like http://testmy.net/quickstats/[yourusername]

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,
Liz

Thanks,
Liz

Good morning Mark,

I don't know where you're emailng us, but please just post your testmy.net results URL here in your thread so we can keep everything in one place, as much as we can.

Thanks,

Re: speedtest trying to share results

Mark,

First, make sure that you are signed into http://testmy.net/ when you do your test.  Then, when you want to post a link to your tests, click on "Results" on the upper right.  It will take you to the page of your test results.  Then copy and paste the URL to the post, like below....

http://testmy.net/quickstats/Gabe1972

Then, you can just click on the link in the post and it will take you to the page of your results.  If you click on my test link above you will see what I mean.

Also, if Hughesnet requested that your test results be emailed to them, you can do the same with copying and pasting the URL of your tests in the email you send to them.

I hope this helps.
