Are you more concerned with a technical explanation or a fix? There are lots of reasons or explanations when it comes to satellite, your particular problem could be due to a dozen different things. If it is fixable they will do their best but it can take time. Explanations can range from server, gateway, beam, cable pipes leading in/out of the gateway......and many other things or a combination. Truthfully, even if they fix it for you they most likely will not say what the exact problem was. I had a similar problem a couple years ago and it took six weeks before it was completely fixed. Never got a technical explanation for the reason or the fix even though I had a corporate contact. Could still stream Netflix and YouTube in low definition so not like my service was unusable. Just took forever to download a large file. A 12 year customer here. Do Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, etc.. give customers explanations for outages or slowdowns?
