Satellite internet is not ideal for streaming because of the latency that's inherent in the technology due to the distance the signal has to travel. You are doing nothing wrong, and there's likely very little to nothing you can do if streaming doesn't work well for you. You could try turning off the video data saver, but be aware that when it's off, streaming will eat up data even faster than when the VDS is on, and you will run out of data very quickly. Because of the issues inherent in the technology, speeds and performance aren't guaranteed (see the subscriber agreement). Satellite TV works just fine, uses no data, and has no latency or signal loss (except sometimes during bad weather). You can get packages that have hundreds of channels, including premium ones. @lisak119 wrote: Hi! I'm a fairly new (1 1/2 month) Hughsnet user and I can't seem to get anything to stream. It worked fine for the first few days, but after that...nothing. I am definitely beginning to regret choosing Hughesnet. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong or how to correct this? I have 15 GBs left so I know it isn't a low data issue. Thanks!
