Wow! After reading these posts I am beginning to think we made a huge mistake going with Hughes Net. We changed from Verizon MiFi because of the slow speed. For the first few days I was watching movies (not many though) and doing what I normally do on the computer, email, FB, games. and the usage was looking really good. I decided to check it again today and was shocked to see that I about to go over the limit. What the heck is going on? I was led to believe how much better Hughes Net was with using your data. I am at a loss. I guess since it is still in the first month, I could cancel and go back to my slower MiFi with Verizon. I wish you guys could do something about this problem everyone seems to be having. I am very disappointed. We are meeting with friends tomorrow so they can see how Hughes Net works since they are interested in joining, but now, I don't want to tell them it's a great system when I'm losing data like crazy!
