Good Luck with the Lawyer... Hughesnet keeps a panel of lawyers on their payroll to handle these issues. It is really surprising that you have been able to remain on hold or speak to them for 20 hours. I find that they "accidentally" disconnect upset customers on a regular basis...especially if you ask for a supervisor. The Help/Support desk people are not technicians, and if there is not a cheat sheet on the topic of your problem, they are going to refer you to their 3rd party $99.00 "we help you" but we are not Hughes.net and we don't care. The whole limited data plan is a pile of BS. You have no control over what Hughes.net transfers to and from your modem, but you are paying for that data as well. And all their disclaimers concerning their service is pitiful! They are not responsible for slow speed connections, after all they sold you "UP TO" products not actual products, how dare us consumers expect to get what "they Sell us" on the phone. I am still trying to figure out how I used 20 Gigs of data in one day when nobody was connected to the system and using any data.
