I had a learning experience this morning. I was careful and monitored my usage daily. I use a program called "PlayOn" that allows me to download Netflix and Amazon during certain times. It works great. I was using my Bonus Bytes between 2:00 and 8:00 am. I noticed that I was getting very low on Bonus bytes, and had the stupid notion that if I ran out while downloading in the wee hours, I would just get kicked off. When I got up I realized that I finished off my bonus bytes but also devoured my Anytime bytes. Well Duh.. that's why they are called "anytime".... and now I am throttled. I remember someone saying something about free tokens. If there are such things, I would be interested in using them. If not, well... my cycle starts over in 10 days and this experience was a teaching tool that I will not soon forget.

No internet this morning. I called tech support. I got right thru. The person on the other end was not a native English speaker. However, I understood her easily. She worked for a long time and then escalated the call to someone else. That guy was also very good and decided to open an onsite repair ticket. I was concerned that the repair would take place after I came back from my trip. However, there was a technician in the area and I had a tech at my house within 45 minutes. He diagnosed the issue to be a faulty radio on the dish. So, I think it went well overall. I think it was strange to have an issue so quickly, but hardware can break at any time. Thanks! Joy
