Report Suspicious "Official" HughesNet E-mail

We recently received reports of a suspicious e-mail sent to those with HughesNet e-mail accounts that looks like this: 

Please remember that we will never ask you for your credit card information via e-mail, so disregard such e-mails and do NOT click on any of the links. Those links may lead to harmful websites, so be aware of what you click on.

Check out some tips on how to identify and handle suspicious e-mails.

You can also help us shut down these spammers by providing us the header information from these e-mails. To do so, right-click on the e-mail in question as it is listed in your HughesNet webmail inbox. Then click on the option to “Show Original”, as shown below: 
Another tab or window will open full of text. Copy and paste the entire text into a new e-mail and send it to us at (The text can be lengthy, so quickly highlight the entire text by pressing Ctrl+A (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+A (OSX), then copy it by pressing Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+C (OSX). Paste the copied text into a new e-mail by pressing Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+V (OSX).) 

Together we can prevent spammers from clogging our inboxes and stealing sensitive information.
