Yes it will, better then a super ball in a concrete building! Smiley Happy  Email -  I wouldn't answer them at all Purg. Especially if its the DC ones.  Also something that comes in the mail, like these fakeroo checks, those fall under the jurisdiction of the Post master!

Yup, there's a bunch of extortion scammers sending threats ala email as well. Neither phone, fax or email are legal proof of debt owed. Those can be attached to a complaint filed with IC3, the cyber crimes division of the FBI.
