At Approx 2000 hrs (mountain time), Connection Speed Plummets

This happens EVERY night, at about the same time (2000 hrs). My Hughes Internet Speeds read (2.24 DL & 3.35 UL approx), which is totally unacceptable. I can't even watch a movie because the streaming speed is cut so low. This is a traffic problem on Hughes. I am a former K12 IT Admin, I know the systems. I need a solution to this problem PLEASE.

2.24Mb is plenty of speed for standard definition streaming.

The problem is not speed. It is latency and network congestion, which is heavily documented on this board. That is, provided you are not out of data in your plan.

Be advised that at 2000 hours, you are competing with everyone else on your satellite beam to stream TV shows (and other things), which also puts a heavy load on the system. As you know as an IT Admin, this creates congestion, and congestion increases latency.
