Can't open my new Status Meter on desk top.

I have installed the new HughesNet Status Meter, put it on my desk top...double click on the icon  to open it, I get nothing, it will not open. Any ideas anyone???

Mine opens and places an icon in the systray.  I then have to click the systray icon to open the meter.  I had to customize the systray to make it display always. Follow these steps:
Click the little arrow to the left of the systray icons.
Click customize.
Scroll to HughesNet Status Meter.exe
Click the dropdown to the right of it and select "show icon and notifications"
You will now see the icon in the systray.
Note that these instructions are for windows 7 and may vary for other versions.

What operating system are you running ?

did you download the correct version of the meter for your OS?

Are you receiving any errors?

is this the first time you are installing the meter or is this an update install?
