Hello,
We recently upgraded from Gen4 to Gen5. Before the change, we had no issues logging into an exchange server remotely from home. Now we get the following....
"This page cant be displayed"
Make sure the web address is correct.
Look for the page with your search engine
Refresh the page in a few minutes.
I appreciate any help that can be given. It is extremely important that we get this working asap.
How are you trying to connect to the exchange server? Using a browser, or a client like Outlook or Thunderbird?
Have you seen if you can perform a DNS lookup and get a proper address for your exchange server?
This is on my wife's work computer. She connects through IE. I also tried to connect through Chrome. She can connect into her Outlook mail through "VMware" but it is extremely, to the point of unusable, Slow. She had been connecting to https://frankgates.com/exchange in with Gen4 without issue. Being a company computer several things are locked out from being able to be changed. I found an article on changing the DNS, but it wants an admin login to make any changes. Is there anything we can try to narrow down the problem? her IT department is about impossible to get help from.
Thanks,
Ron
sorry, that should have been... https://mail.frankgates.com/exchange
The odd thing is that we can use either of our verizon phones as a hot spot, and connect without issue.

Edit: Nevermind...had a "senior moment." LOL.
Do you know if shes using a VPN?
It sounds like they are using a VPN, I can't connect on either my HT1100 Gen4 unit, nor my HT2000w Gen5 unit...
