Changed admin password and forgot it

The admin password for the router isn’t working for me. 99% certain that I changed one night even though I remember thinking that would be a bad idea but it feels like I must’ve done it because now with the password is not working. How do I access or reset the router/modem control password access by the IP address website?

Take a look at the instructions here. As stated in the instructions, make sure to NOT press and hold the reset button for any length of time. Just press and release. Holding it down can cause the modem to lose all settings, including its connection settings, necessitating a tech visit to fix.

Once this is done, your administration password should be set back to the default, which is admin. It will also reset your WiFi passwords back to default (the passwords on the sticker).
