Hidden Network Problem

Thank You Everyone For Your Help In Making Our Network Hidden - Now I Have a New Problem:

We have the Gen 5 Modem Router with 2 desktops running Windows 10, 1 Amazon Fire Tablet, 1 Surface 2 running Windows 10 and an Android Smartphone.  After changing the modem settings the Tablet & Surface can connect to the network (YEAH!) but the desktops and smartphone cannot ( Boo!).  I changed the setting back to broadcasting with the same results.  Our desktops cannot connect to the modem.   We have unplugged and restarted both the modem and the desktops with no success.  Ant suggestions?

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize you are having issues with locating the network on your desktops. I see that the 2.4G network is disabled properly and the 5G network is enabled and broadcasting. In this case, if you were able to connect before disabling the 2.4G, it may be that the devices you are trying to connect are not able to see the 5GHz network. This can be due to the age or type of WiFi card in your devices. I recommend using an Ethernet cable for the desktops if you intend to keep the 2.4G network hidden, or updating the Wi-Fi card in your desktop computers. As far as I can tell, I have reset all networks back to being Enabled and Broadcasting, basically the way they were before.  We can connect to the 2.4GHz accounts but our desktops cannot connect to the 5GHz accounts as they could before.  Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure the network names still match and that the gateway/router (should be and submasks (should be are correct.
