How do you disable the status meter update messages?

I went back to a version of the status meter that actually works. Please tell me there is a way to disable the update messages in windows 10.

You can't.  The updated version of the new status meter works just fine, BTW.  They fixed the problems with it.  It won't work on a 32 bit version of Windows, though.
