I can not log into my Hughesnet.com email. I keep getting a 403 error. What is it and why am I getting it?
Anyone else have this issue or is it just me??
I can't access my email on my computer. I have not changed anything on my computer. I can however get my email on my iPad and iPhone.
Here is error code:
HTTP ERROR 403
Problem accessing /service/extension/saml2acs. Reason:
No domains configured with this virtual hostname: mail.hughes.net
Is this the email that comes with your HughesNet account?
The HughesNet reps on this site will have to have a look at your account to see what's going on. Reps are on M-F approximately 9-6. and one of them will get back to you as soon as possible. Hang in there.
No, I am having the same issue and have had for over 24 hours. The email app on my phone appears to be working, however. This is a severe issue if you are signed up for paperless billing with utilities etc.
Roger, you may want to start your own ticket if you'd like the reps here to look into the issue you're experiencing. They address one ticket per subscriber. To start your own ticket, go to the main Tech Support section and click "start a topic."

When was the last time you rebooted your modem?
About 10 minutes ago, still the same error in Firefox, Chrome just keeps spinning. All other seem normal browsinbg is fine no problems with many other websites and my other email accounts are fine. Thanks for the reply.
Try rebooting your modem, or power cycling it.
Did that, no change.
Well, rats. I had hopes that the reboot might help, especially after Mark mentioned it.
May want to open a new ticket then, to have the reps here have a look at the issue. This thread is for the OP, and they will likely not focus on another subscriber on this thread.

What happens when you kill your browser, bring it back up, then go directly to https://email.hughes.net/
Thanks for the replies.
@Roger_Cain looks like we have the same issue.
The error is with my Hughes.net email. It was working perfectly on Tuesday/Tuesday night. I have had this issue for about 24 hours now.
I tried using different browsers - Safari and Firefox.
All other emails work fine - gmail (and my old aol email!) I use my Hughes.net email for work.
I rebooted both my modem and my wifi router about a week ago.
I can get my Hughes.net email on my iPad - which is using the same modem/wifi router as my computer.
I went directly to the link https://email.hughes.net/ and the same thing happens. After logging in my username/password, it acts like the mail is going to open and then a white screen with 403 error code comes up.
Wife's email had exact same problem as you describe. (I'm assuming you are accessing email thru hughes.net webpage and not using outlook or similar program.) She could get her email using outlook or using ipad email app, or using ipad to get to hughes.net web email, but not using hughes.net webmail site on her desktop.
Fixed it by clearing her browser history, cookies, caches, etc.
Then close your browser and then reopen.
Log back in to email.
I did that with both Firefox and Chrome and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for the help. Strange that it was happening with Chrome as I haven't used it for some time until this issue popped up.
YAY!!! THAT WORKED!!! 🙂 @Chewwie you rock!
Thanks everyone!!!
Now I guess I have to get back to work! LOL! 🙂
