I got a text alert saying I only had 25% data remaining but my app showed 36% data remaining. First I tried to chat with support twice but it didn't work and the chats just ended. So I called and was told the 36% was correct. Anyone else get wrong text alerts or know why they happen? I emailed Hughesnet too but just curious if anyone else has had this issue? Ty
You can check usage by going to the system control center page here: http://192.168.0.1/#!/usage
Or you can check it from this site by clicking on My Account and then Usage. This way you can compare with the text.
If it happens again, you may want to get screenshots of the text and of the actual remaining data and post them here so the HughesNet reps on this site can see the error and send the images and your report to the appropriate department.

This didn't happen again around the new billing cycle (22nd), did it? I was wondering if it would happen again around that time so that we have something to go off. If not, then perhaps it was a one off. As maratsade suggested, if it does occur, please provide screenshots so I can show to our internal folks to address.
