I’m desperate to get some help with my internet. I keep getting told that I either need to pay more for a service technician or I have to wait until the weather is better before any help can be given. Problem is that this didn’t just start with the weather and I have no other internet options so I’m screwed. I’m on chemo and can’t go out in public so I’m stuck at home with my local free tv as the only thing I have to do. I just want to stream some Netflix and rest that’s all. So if anyone can help me troubleshoot this problem please let me know.

Certain issues with the service can only be fixed by an onsite technician and depending on how many techs have already come out or the type of fix it may require, compensation may not be available. We do have services such as Express repair which significantly reduces the costs for an onsite technician. With that being said, I would be happy to look into your account and runs diagnostics myself to see what is causing your issues and if a technician is actually needed. In regard to the weather, while this may not be the direct cause of what you are going through, accurate diagnostics cannot always be performed since strong winds and heavy cloud coverage skew the readings and provide false errors.
