I see it's your first post here, so welcome to the community! We can certainly help; so what happened? Which LEDs are lit on the HughesNet modem?
Try powercycling the modem (unplug the modem's power cord from its power brick, wait 30 seconds, then replug) and see if the internet comes back afterwards.
If the internet doesn't come back after power cycling, please tell me the state code by going to www.systemcontrolcenter.com and clicking the SYSTEM STATUS icon at the top. That URL is for a page on your modem, so no internet connection needed.
Let me know what the state code is; it's a series of numbers separated by dots, like 0.0.0.
