Phone nonoperational

Woke up to my  phone not working. No dial tone. Power burning steady. Internet light blinking on and off. No phone light on the box. I have checked all connections and they are good. Restarted computer and it did not fix it. I also unplugged power from phone box for 60 seconds and replugged. No luck with that either. Do not know if it matters but since I have had this service when you dial the phone or answer the phone you have to wait up to 30 seconds to be able to hear or be heard. I tried to use chat and was informed I had to call for voice service. Would love to do that but can't as my phone isn't working.

Sorry to hear your phone is out. My neighbor and I both have the Hughes Phone. So far, mine has worked quite well. However my neighbor just went through a prolonged period of non operation with exactly the same symptoms that you have. After torturous phone calls, (he also has a Global Star Sat phone with the worst service), and many emails, they sent him a new phone box. It dild not work and showed the same symptoms. More emails, more calls finally resulted in Hughes discovering that their phone service provider was at fault and the problem was resolved. Good luck. Have patience.

Hi Chris- I've had the same problem since my install in December. I'm on  my 3rd ATA box and still my phone goes out at least once a week. Of course we find out when one of our daughters sends an angry text complaining about our POS (their words) phone service. I can typically get service back by resetting, resetting again, resetting again, unplugging, resetting several more times. Then five days later I repeat the process. Can you please have your engineers look into my system?

gmb0623,

It would be best to start your own thread when having an issue, even if your issue is similar to someone else's.  It helps the reps, and others who would help, to have a separate thread for each individual issue.
