This is the required speed test, correct? If an Ethernet cable was required, wouldn't the installer have installed one? I see no Ethernet cable hooked up to my 'wireless' installed equipment.
This seems a bit much for Hughesnet to require from a customer.
-perform the tests while signed into the testmy.net account
-do the tests while directly connected to the HughesNet modem with a LAN cable (NO ROUTER or Wireless devices)
-use the 12MB size download test file
-space each test at least 5 minutes apart
-post your results URL here, it may look something like http://testmy.net/quickstats/C0RR0SIVE
Would think it is supposed to come with a cable but can't say for sure since I still have the HT1100. Even though it can be used as a wireless router it is still a modem at its base and should come with a cable to plug directly into it. Plugging directly into it is the best way to set it up and troubleshoot it if having problems.
