Can you describe what you mean by "it keeps shutting off"? A speed problem can have a number of causes, but I think the more important thing, at this point, is figuring out what's going on with it "shutting off". Do you mean the modem itself is shutting down? If so, what are you seeing to indicate this? Or, are you losing your internet connection, and again, if so, what are you seeing to indicate this? Or, are you losing your WiFi connection, and again, the same question about indication. Or, is it something else?
