I have the Gen 5 which is supposed to have up to 3Mbps upload speeds. My upload speeds go very low down to almost 0. Sometimes they spike up to 3 or 4, but can also run at .1 to .3
I believe this is why I am having issues with pages not loading intermittently and sometimes streaming not working. Tests were all using ethernet with wireless turned off.
I have attached a screenshot of test in the morning on a sunny day. Also, here is the link, https://testmy.net/quickstats/NorthernKnighta
For these tests to be analyzed by the engineers at HN, you will need all the file sizes to be 4MB.
Weather at your gateway can also affect speeds. Do you know how to find your gateway, and if so, where is it located?
Here is with 4MB uploads, https://testmy.net/quickstats/NorthernKnight I'm getting closer to 2Mbps with the 4MB uploads.
Gateway IP is
Gateway | 100.65.179.81 |
Satellite NameEchoStar-19-NAD
Gateway ID15
Beam ID54
Outroute ID1
I believe Beam 54 tracks to Seattle, WA, which has had light rain (shocker).
