Unable to connect to new VLAN layer 3 switch.

I just upgraded my Cisco SG 200 to a new Cisco CBS350 layer switch and I am unable to establish a link between the HT2000W modem/router and the VLAN.  When I use Windows 10 Pro ping, I am able to ping all the VLAN's and devices (including a wireless access point) on the network with the exception of the HT2000W.  When I use the CBS350 ping, I am also able to ping all the VLAN's and devices on the network with the exception of the HT2000W.  Moreover, I am able to reach all the devices on the network with the exception of the HT2000W. I did not have this issue with the SG 200.  If I substitute the SG 200 for the CBS350 everything works. Moreover, I tried a cold reset / reinstall of the HT2000W which did not fix the problem.  Going back to the SG 200 is not an option, I need to upgrade the protection on some of the VLAN's.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
