Yes, I think I have slow speeds

In fact they are so slow Testmynet will not run.

Current speed is 236 kbps.  Spent 6 hours last week on the phone, escalated to T4 (??) who transferred me to Acct Mgmnt with the suggestion I cancel the service. But there's no where else to go. It's either Hughrs or CenturyTel landline. Tough choice this day. But it has been like this for 6 years or so, ppromises, promises, promises. So, I will just post my daily < 1 meg down so billing can canxel each days charges. Maybe one day 5G will reach me in these mountains. Anyone else experiencing horrible speeds and service, or just me?

I typically have no issues, except sometimes during high traffic periods such as prime time in the evenings, and those mostly affect data intensive activities, not regular browsing.

I've noticed Testmy doesn't do very well when there's congestion (high traffic). It works fine for slow speeds during non-congested areas, but congestion throws it for a loop. It didn't use to be this way, but when they updated the site, it became less test-friendly.

Have you tried to run speed tests using the HN speed test?  I never have any luck with it, but others do.

Do you ever have normal speeds? Have you checked at different times?

Are you still using Gen4 or have you upgraded to Gen5?

If you can get some testmy tests to work, the results would almost assuredly help the reps.  Also, make sure you're signed into testmy when you run them.
